PG-Music hat die neuen Versionen von Band-In-A-Box und Real-Band für 2014 vorgestellt. Die Benutzeroberfläche von BIAB wurde überarbeitet und es wurden über 50 neue Funktionen und Erweiterungen eingebaut. Zudem gibt es 101 RealTracks mehr, 54 MIDI SuperTracks und 36 Artist Performances. Wer BIAB 2014 vor dem 31. Dezember bestellt, oder updatet erhält die Software zum ermäßigten Preis plus Bonus Packs. Real-Band 2014 ist in BIAB 2014 enthalten. Auch hier gibt es einiges an Neuerungen. Hier ist die originale Mitteilung:
There are some exciting new features in Band-in-a-Box and RealBand 2014. First off, we’ve redesigned the GUI, with a great new look and feel, and added many new time-saving features. New Toolbars, Song/Style areas, on-screen mixer, redesigned chord sheet with handwritten ‚real‘ looking chord fonts and more. You can now make your own RealTracks – we call these UserTracks – and you can use them like any RealTracks. Simply record your playing (in any DAW), along to some BB songs, put in the UserTracks folder, and you’re done!
There’s a handy Instant Preview of styles, RealTracks, and RealDrums so that you can quickly audition them to choose the best ones for your song. Loops now support Acidized Loops, so that tempo/chord root info is automatic. And much more! Over 50 new features!
There are 101 new RealTracks, including Pollwinners Jazz (by Downbeat Pollwinners Ron Carter, Kenny Barron, Lewis Nash, Phil Woods, Gary Smulyan and Pat Martino), Great New Orleans Styles (full band with Kevin McKendree, piano), Pop/Synth Tracks, and an Amazing Classical String Quartet.
