Iridium Iris aus Schweden haben den Paragon Bass vorgestellt. Dabei handelt es sich um einen Custom Bass mit 5 Saiten. Laut Hersteller soll er für viele Genres einsetzbar sein. Die Software gibt es in den Formaten VSTi und AU als 32 und 64 BIT Version. Die Vollversion für MAC/PC kostet jeweils 34,- USD. Für den MAC gibt es auch eine kostenlose Trial Version. The Paragon Bass VST instrument works like the previous plugin Reality Bass but in this plugin we have put our whole heart; contains new better algorithms and better sound samples from a real custom made 5-stringed bass equipped with Bartolini pickups that has a really high sound quality.
