Powered by the latest Neo Piano Yosemite Engine, Imperial Grand combines high-quality sampling and advanced modeling to achieve exceptional realism and responsiveness. Despite its compact size of ~600MB, it delivers a level of detail comparable to massive 284GB sample libraries, with a dynamic, ever-changing sound and rich string interaction.
Imperial Grand is selected as one of four Virtuoso Grade pianos from Supreme Piano 5, featuring a distinctive Bösendorfer tone—warm, velvety, and highly expressive—with 127 velocity layers under MIDI 1.0 for precise dynamic control.
As a fully featured MIDI 2.0 virtual instrument, it supports per-note expression, high-resolution velocity, detailed pedaling, and polyphonic aftertouch. The engine also introduces AI-powered Freeform Layer V2, delivering up to 2× more velocity detail in MIDI 2.0 and up to 8× in MIDI 1.0, for a more natural and expressive playing experience.
Imperial Grand also supports surround and immersive audio, making it a future-ready solution for modern production workflows.
