electra-guitars-logoElectra Guitars zeigt auf der Morgen (23.01.2014) beginnenden Winter NAMM Show einige neue Instrumente. Darunter mehrere Gitarren und ein Bass. Hier ist die Pressemitteilung: We’re pleased to announce a number of new models and innovations will be joining our popular Omega and Omega Prime Series. Following are highlights of new Electra Guitars and Basses coming in February.

Electra Phoenix S Series w/ Tone Blend & SW Neck Connection:

electra-1Based on the original Electra Phoenix X110 guitar, the Phoenix S utilizes three specially designed MagnaFlux SC pickups fed into a switching system that allows any and all combinations of the 3 pickups. Electra’s new Analog Tone Blend allows players to mix in either the neck or bridge pickup without affecting the 5-way selection. This will give players additional tones – neck+bridge, or all 3 pickups – with a 3 single-coil pickup config. It also includes Electra’s new SW Neck Connection providing a significant improvement, and much tighter bond than traditional bolt-ons. The Phoenix S will be available in Gloss Black and Tri-Burst finishes with a street price starting at $599.

Electra Phoenix H Series w/ Floyd Rose & SW Neck Connection:

electra-2The Phoenix H has an identical design as the S, but has been updated to meet the needs of today’s rock guitarist. Featuring a Floyd Rose tremolo and a newly designed, Super MagnaFlux high output passive humbucking pickup, the Phoenix H is designed for the aggressive player. It also sports the SWC. The Phoenix H will initially be available in Trans Black and Trans Orange finishes both with Maple Fretboards. The Phoenix H will carry a street price starting at $829.

Electra Invicta Series with 5-Way Rotary Pickup Selector & CLS:

electra-3The new Invicta, pays homage to a classic, original Electra design. The body is made from Swamp Ash topped with Quilt Maple and bound in multi-layer tortoise binding which gives it a unique look. The Invicta will also sport a 5-Way Rotary Pickup Selector fed into  Electra’s Coil Linkage System (CLS). In concert with its 2 volume knobs it provides 7 pick-up combinations for max tones! It will initially be available in stunning Quilted Maple and Trans Ruby finishes starting at a street price of $899.

Electra Talon Series w/ Floyd Rose:

electra-4The Electra Talon’s aggressive double-cutaway design is a no-compromise metal machine. Available with either an all mahogany body or mahogany body with a quilt maple top, this is where style, design, substance and playability come together in one package. The Talon has a fast D Shape Neck, Real Ebony Fretboard, Real Mother of Pearl Talon Inlays and Floyd Rose Tremolo. The Talon will be available in a Gloss Black finish as well as Electra’s original Phantom Quilt. Street price will start at $899.

Phoenix Bass Series w/ 5-Way Rotary, CLS & SW Connection:

electra-5The new Phoenix bass features an updated design and electronics to meet the needs for the modern bass player. Moving the bass side horn out to the 12th fret and adding generous belly, forearm and treble side horn contours makes this bass comfortable to play while retaining its aggressive look. The Phoenix Bass is Electra’s first collaboration with EMG and includes two specially designed EMG HZ-P pickups using the 5-way rotary switch and Electra’s Coil Linkage System (CLS) providing players a slew of varying tones. The Phoenix Bass will be available in a Swamp Ash body with Natural finish and Maple fretboard, as well as an Alder body with Gloss Black finish and Ebony fretboard. The Phoenix bass will start at an estimated $999.
